Our Purpose

This leadership program is designed to educate its residents on the most current community leadership and opportune volunteer service. Candidates are selected on the basis of individual ability, a want to develop their local leadership potential, and a passionate interest in bettering this community. The objective of Leadership Morgan Hill is to deliver a calendared curriculum designed to prepare individuals from all areas within our diverse Morgan Hill community to serve as a collaborative leader and operate with the actions to help augment their community.

Our Selection Process

  • You will be chosen based on the application materials submitted and an open interview with the Leadership Morgan Hill Board of Directors.  

  • It is strongly suggested that interested  participants demonstrate a motivation of commitment to serving their community.

  • Program members must also demonstrate an operative ability to achieve personal goals, availability to dedicate to the program as well as community service and a personal commitment to the community of Morgan Hill.  

  • A maximum of 24 candidates will be selected to participate in the annual Leadership Morgan Hill program.  Your participation represents the commitment of your time and open minded readiness to work collaboratively with your fellow participants.

Your Commitment

  • Participants will require the support of their employer to secure approval for the time required to attend the program sessions.

  • If selected, applicants will be expected to attend all sessions and complete program assignments.  Assignments outside of class sessions will be required, such as planning sessions for a chosen class project. 

  • Applicants shall certify that the information provided on the application is true and complete and agree that falsified information or significant omissions may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. Such conduct may be considered justification for dismissal from the program if discovered after admittance.
